12-Time World Champion with All-Time Records

Men | Muscle Build | Sports Nutrition

With MetPro, they tell you what to eat, when to eat it. And if you just do what they say, you'll get what you want. You'll see results.

In 2004, I benched 771 at the 220-pound weight class. That was an all-time record. In 2005, six months later, weighed in at 228 at the 242-pound weight class–benched 801. And, that became an all-time record, along with being the lightest person ever to bench 800 at the time. Two years after, at the 198-pound weight class, I ended up benching 705. That was third all-time.

The MetPro system taught me a lot about carbohydrate contrasting and how I use carbohydrates correctly. There’s a lot of myths into cutting all your carbs out, but when you’re a performance athlete, that’s just not possible to stay at the top of your game.

MetPro has allowed me to manipulate my bodyweight between weight classes. I’ve been three different weight classes in the last 10 to 15 years, and it still comes back down to: I want have the most efficient product to put on the platform. And when I say “product,” I mean, my body. I wanna be as lean as possible. MetPro allows me to do that. My day starts at 4 AM. I’ve eaten by 4:30 and every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, I’m eating again–whether it’s a snack or a meal.

If a strength athlete doesn’t have a regimented meal plan like MetPro–that is constantly evaluating and changing–they are not reaching their potential. And, they’re not gonna reach their potential. Nutrition plans that basically give you a cookie-cutter type diet plan that you follow for the rest of your life–those don’t work because you’ll never get your metabolism to the point you want it to be. It takes that ebb and flow and a fluctuating, evaluating, and recalculating. Your body’s changing, you’re progressing, and so is your diet.

Another big advantage of MetPro is obviously with technology now it’s right there on your phone, the app. Most people don’t have the time or the means to be able to go out and research or pay for nutritional counseling–how to diet correctly without losing muscle mass–especially if you’re in the performance game. MetPro just makes that easier. It’s almost like having your own personal nutritional consultant with you all the time.
