I was feeling pretty stuck with my health and fitness journey after I had my fourth child. Normally, I had a pretty easy time losing weight after pregnancies, but for two years, I just felt like I was stuck in place. Everything I tried, all my old go-to's, weren't having the same effect anymore. So, I was getting super frustrated, and it kind of made me feel like giving up. I thought, "Why put the effort in if I'm not going to really see the changes?"

Given my discouragement from trying all these things that didn't seem to work, I was skeptical about how it would work for me. But I was also hopeful because I had seen my sister Angie's incredible transformation. She was probably even more stuck with her weight than I was, and she tried everything – exercise, running marathons, and eating well.

When I started with MetPro, I felt pretty excited and had a lot of momentum. It felt good to have a plan and actually know what I was supposed to do. It took a lot of the thinking out of it, which was essential for me with a job, four kids, and other responsibilities. Having a simple app to see what I'm supposed to eat and when was great.

I started losing weight right away, and that was exciting. It felt like something was finally working. The psychological and emotional support from MetPro was vital. Food affects many areas of our lives my coach had a good intuition about how to support me and encourage me. I tend to be too hard on myself and get discouraged, but they were empathetic and helped me feel like I'm just human, and that we all have bad days. My coach kept me consistent, even when unexpected events came up.

Talking with my coach felt like talking with a friend who's really going to help me stay on track. Weight loss was just one part of it; I wanted to have a happy life, be a good mother, a good friend, be successful at work, and enjoy life fully. Addressing my nutrition and exercise helped me regain confidence and improved other areas of my life along the way.

I would talk to Angie and say, "This is amazing, everyone should be doing this." The investment in getting my nutrition and health dialed in gave me a lot of dividends in other areas. I can now take on challenges and do things I didn't think were possible before.
