From Prediabetic to In-Range in 4 Months

A lawyer's MetPro coach and DEXA scan data transformed his life

I’m Brandon. I’m analytical and regimented by nature, so when I left a doctor’s appointment with two data points I couldn’t ignore, I treated it as a problem to solve. The first was my weight. The second was that I was registering as prediabetic.

I started researching approaches that would fit the way I think, which is to say approaches built on measurement rather than guesswork. That led me to a DEXA scan. The concept made sense to me immediately: a precise, in-depth analysis of my body composition. I completed the scan, the operator reviewed the full breakdown with me, and shortly after I received a note about taking those results further. MetPro was one of the options. The reviews and documented outcomes were strong, so I moved forward.

Working with my coach, Jesse, has been straightforward and precise.

She removes the guesswork. She asks about upcoming travel and then specifies what to eat at the airport, on a flight, and at a hotel when meal prep isn’t possible. When I have to eat at a restaurant, I send her the menu in advance and she identifies the options that fit my macros.

The part that surprised me most was the structure itself. She started me on six meals a day. My assumption was that fat loss required eating less, not more, yet the scale was moving in the right direction by the middle of the first week.

Four months in, I’m no longer prediabetic. I’m back in range, with confirmation from the medical side of what the data had already indicated. The change from that initial appointment and first scan has been significant, and having it validated by the numbers made it concrete in a way that appearance alone does not. My energy is also measurably higher through the day. Mornings that used to start slow now start early and clear.
