Beef Tacos

Spicy Beef Encased in Crunch: Taco Perfection!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz extra lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • ½ cup pico de gallo
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 8 corn or flour tortillas, warmed

Directions

1.) Combine beef, soy sauce, chili powder, garlic powder and onion powder in a medium bowl. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, until nicely browned.
2.) Serve 2 oz taco meat to each tortilla, 2 tacos being one serving. Top each with 1/4 avocado, as much pico de gallo, and lettuce as desired. Squeeze lime juice onto tacos and enjoy.
